Commentary

Found by local perturbation of previous size-36 record (witness 876). Delete residues 728 and 753, then insert 733, 758, 4250, 4255, 4275, 4280. I also checked the resulting size-40 set locally for direct insertions and exhaustive 1-out/2-in, 2-out/3-in, and 3-out/4-in improvements; none produced size 41.
