Commentary

Tail/arc-compression search. Started from the compact size-32 core, which lies entirely above N/2. Swept thresholds N/4, N/3, 2N/5, and N/2. A hard-N/2 2→3 move {1876,2117}→{1847,3247,3322} gave size 33. Then a neutral 2↔2 move {1820,2471}→{1790,3066} opened a second hard-N/2 2→3 move {2340,2415}→{2355,2430,2486}, yielding size 34. All residues remain > N/2.
